A Chat with the Owner: Leslie Habets

Give us a little bit about your background. How did you get into the business?

I have a Bachelor of Science from Anderson University. I was raised in South Carolina. My husband, Ted Habets, and his family have lived in the area for over 2 decades and, for me, coming here over a decade ago was love at first sight. I got into the business 7 years ago, deciding to take a chance at doing what I loved, Flowers, Events, & Retail.

Fun Fact: Jack Hadden is named after my children, 15-year-old Jack, and daughter, Hadden, 12.

What is your favorite part of a wedding?

The Details! I love helping brides curate their wedding day florals, brainstorming and bringing their vision to life. Flowers set the stage for beautiful events and love working with our clients from start to finish when they see their vision come to life.

What advice do you have for couples planning their wedding day?

My advice is simple, ask questions!!! For most brides, flowers are super important but they may not know much about them and the process. A great florist will help educate you and listen to your vision, help find items that work with your vision and take the time to help you understand the whole process. It's a win, win- You get exactly what you've dreamed of and you learn a few new things in the process.
