Their Love Story
It all began when two Marines just so happen to each rent a room from a mutual friend. There seems to be some debate on who flirted with whom first, but to borrow a beautiful quote used in the ceremony by Daybreak Ceremonies:

Under the gorgeous patio of 305 Trackside in Southern Pines, North Carolina, our bride and groom promised to nurture each other's goals and ambitions, support each other through misfortune and triumph, and show each other how fortunate they were to have one another by their sides.

Have you heard of the Pittsburgh Wedding Cookie tradition? This was our first and it was stunning! According to the tradition, the cookies are homemade by mothers, sisters, grandmas, aunts, and friends as gifts of love. We were told that in Pittsburgh, no one asks "How was the wedding?" They ask "How were the cookies?" We aren't ashamed to say we tried MANY of them and they were all delicious! In fact, we would love to see this tradition catch on at our next Southern Pines Wedding!
